If you work out every day and have an exercise schedule, a major hurricane or catastrophic storm can cause catastrophic problems in your burnout program.
For most of us who work, we know that if we don't work every day, we're going to take a day back, and it's not going to be a good day.
All you have to do is learn more
about isometric exercises and other ways to stay active even if your local gym is closed and the power goes out for weeks.
So, as long as you have water and food, you can continue exercising at home with push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups.
Of course, it's not the same as in the gym,
but if you follow the principles of exercise that you can find in exercise books, you can maintain your health and exercise regularly. There's no reason to sacrifice your health just because Mother Nature is eradicating your city and destroying it.
If you don't have a home gym,
you should buy fitness books about isometric and cardiovascular exercises that you can do without exercise equipment at home.
This is an important consideration and your body must continue to work to maintain your weight and stay healthy. It will also allow you to de-stress from such unfortunate events in your life. Please consider this in 2006.
